The next Michigan clinics for Level 1, 2, or 3 will begin in August, 2008.
2008 LEVEL 4 CLINIC INFORMATION
The Coaching Program would like to thank all the speakers and participants at our recent Kalamazoo Level 4 clinic. For those who could not attend, the Michigan Coaching Program is also planning a fall Level 4 clinic in Escanaba, August 22-24. The Escanaba Clinic will be online for registration beginning in June. In addition, for Michigan coaches, the USA Hockey Mid-Am District will hold a Level 4 clinic in South Bend, IN, on Labor Day weekend, Aug. 29-31. ALL Level 4 clinics are online at www.usahockey.com.
NEW USA HOCKEY CLINIC REGISTRATION SYSTEM
On March 1, USA Hockey introduced its new online registration system for Coaching Clinics. For coaches who used the old system, there are some significant changes. If you need to register for a clinic, and you have trouble completing the process, we have posted instructions in the Coaching Forms section of this web site. The biggest change is that you need to register on the USA Hockey site and obtain a User ID and Password, before you can sign up for a clinic. This is typical of most online systems today. It will help ensure that your clinic records are correct.

Coaches - you are the reason our program exists. You have taken on a demanding job. We want to be a resource for you, to help you do the best job you are able to do. After all, parents and players have a right to expect that you are doing your best for every player on the team. Let us help you move them to the next level, whatever that may be. In the process, you may discover that coaching is something you enjoy, and are good at.
We believe that coaches are a prime influence in the lives of young people, and that coaching education is a potent force for the betterment of every participant's hockey experience. Through our programs, you may be able to move to the next level as well!
