LEVEL 4 CLINIC INFORMATION

Michigan held a Level 4 Clinic, attended by over 180 coaches, in Detroit, March 20-22, 2009.   There are NO more planned Level 4 clinics in Michigan for 2009.  However, Michigan coaches have several options to attend Level 4.  For most, the best option is South Bend, Indiana, August 28-30.  Great speakers in a very comfortable setting.  Highly recommended.   Use the USA Hockey Web Site to register.

LEVEL 5 INFORMATION
National Hockey Coaches Symposium

USA Hockey will hold its national Level 5 Symposium in St. Paul, Minnesota, Aug. 12-15, 2009.   Details are online now in the Coaches section of usahockey.com.  Choose the Level 5 menu link for a brochure and other information. 

Any Level 4 coach is eligible to attend.  The last Level 5 Symposium was in Rochester, New York, in 2006.  They are usually held every 2-3 years.

Coaches - you are the reason our program exists.  You have taken on a demanding job.  We want to be a resource for you, to help you do the best job you are able to do.  After all, parents and players have a right to expect that you are doing your best for every player on the team.  Let us help you move them to the next level, whatever that may be.  In the process, you may discover that coaching is something you enjoy, and are good at. 

We believe that coaches are a prime influence in the lives of young people, and that coaching education is a potent force for the betterment of every participant's hockey experience.  Through our programs, you may be able to move to the next level as well!
