The Honeybaked women’s team is returning home from Minnesota with a national title.

With a 2-1 victory over Carolina Aces on Sunday at the Schwan Super Rink, the HB women claimed the 2016 USA Hockey Senior B national title.

Stephanie Price scored the deciding goal at the 9:10 mark of overtime, burying a feed from Deana Wiegand to secure the national title.

Kim Shaw scored in regulation, while Katrina Hodgeson stopped 29 of the 30 shots sent her way in the title game.

Honeybaked posted a 5-1 record in the national tournament, and Hodgeson was named MVP.
