The World of Women’s Hockey is coming to Michigan in 2017. We are looking for team hosts to help the teams find their way around while they are here. We have team coming from Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Russia, Germany, Czechoslovakia and Canada. Below are some of the basic requirements. Team Host Overview

• These individuals should be local (I.e. Within reasonable driving distance to Plymouth). USAH is not able to provide hotel/lodging for Team Hosts so this means they would need to be relatively close by to assist a team on a daily basis throughout the tournament. USAH will provide reimbursement for (approved) mileage for hosts.
• We’d prefer to assign 1 host to each team (versus having 2 team hosts per team). While the "shared host" scenario has worked in the past, it isn’t ideal and can be tricky in terms of daily coverage as I’m sure you’ve had experience with.
• Depending on the responses we get, we may not be able to guarantee a host role for that everyone who’s interested but there may be a way to involve them in a different capacity as we determine what the other needs are. Again- that assumes we’re able to expand the pool of potential hosts.
