Boy's Michigan Player Development Camp Try Out process explained

Michigan Player Development Try-Outs are organized to provide both male and female youth players the opportunity to display their skills and compete in an organized, competitive program and be selected to attend a USA Hockey National Development Camp.  These unique opportunities are available to players in the 2001 through 2004 birth years who are USA Citizens, reside in the Michigan District of USA Hockey, and are registered with USA Hockey for the current season.  

Boys - 

Step 1 - District Try Out (MAHA District 2-3-4, District 5-6-L7, District U7,8)

Step 2 - Selected players with birth year 2004 are invited to State Try Out. ( 2004's end at MI 14 Camp)

Step 3 - Selected players with birth year 2003 are invited to USA Hockey National Development Camp.  

2001 and 2002 Players - Step #2

Boys with birth year 2001 and 2002 selected from their respective District Try Outs will attend the Michigan Midget Final Try Outs.  2001 and 2002 Birth Year Players selected from the final try outs will attend the 16 or 17 Select USA Hockey National Development Camp.
