The Runners Up Tournament is used to fill open spots in the State Playoffs. Districts that do not have teams at certain classification turn their spots back into to MAHA. MAHA hold this tournament for those teams that finish second in their district in the needed classification. The competition determines which teams will then fill the available slots.

All teams participating in the Runner Up tournament must review the schedule and rules.
