MAHA remembers Logan and Walter B Connolly
The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association is saddened to learn of the passing of Grosse Pointe's Logan and Walter B Connolly, two beloved members of our hockey community. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and their hockey families at this time.
Logan, 11, and Walter B (known as Briggs), 9, were members of the St. Clair Shores Hockey Association and the Bulldogs Hockey Club in Grosse Pointe.
A message from St. Clair Shores:
Please join the St. Clair Shores Hockey Association for a prayer service for the children, parents, family, friends, and neighborhood as we mourn this tragic loss. Everyone is welcome to come together so we can pray for the family during this difficult time.
Hockey players are asked to wear their jerseys as a sign of solidarity and support for the family.

We thank everyone who is supporting the Connolly family and their loved ones. The hockey community is showing their support through the #SticksOutForLoganAndBriggs moment, in which hockey families are placing hockey sticks on their front porch in honor of the children.
