The Michigan Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) is proud to announce a partnership with EventConnect, the industry's first all-in-one sports tournament management and live hotel-blocking platform. The new partnership will remove the pain points surrounding amateur group travel through an easily accessible interface, customized hotel connectivity, and dedicated customer support.

"Given the number of MAHA events organized each season throughout the state, we want to make travel accommodations as easy as possible for our membership," said Jason Reynolds, MAHA Director of Operations and Marketing. "EventConnect has the right combination of technology, customer service and support to simplify the team travel process."

Founded in 2013 to empower youth sports through technology, EventConnect is a privately held organization that pioneered connecting the event registration process with adaptive proprietary technology matched with unparalleled service and support to advance sports event organizers. EventConnect builds and supports ground-breaking custom technology for over 4,000 events annually across 800 cities, 25,000 hotels and over 380 partners.

"Our mission is to continually advance the ease and efficiency of sports tournament management with innovative technology matched with unparalleled service and support," explained John D'Orsay, CEO of EventConnect. "We believe a new generation of sports events is looking to scale with technology."

EventConnect will facilitate hotel accommodations for teams qualifying for the 2023 MAHA State Playoffs.
