The 2024 edition of USA Hockey’s Hockey Week Across America is underway!

Join USA Hockey and the Michigan Amateur Hockey Association in celebrating the sport we love through a weeklong collection of themes and activities, which can all be viewed below.

Sunday, Feb. 25 | Welcome to Hockey Day

Created by USA Hockey in 2008 and then called Hockey Weekend Across America, the annual event began as a weekend-long endeavor designed to engage the hockey community in celebrating the sport of hockey at all levels and exposing the sport to new audiences. Beginning in 2019, the event has been expanded into a week-long celebration called Hockey Week Across America.

Today, Hockey Week Across America is an annual effort aimed at two major objectives through a week of events at the local and national level to promote hockey.

Objectives:

• To celebrate our game and all involved in the sport throughout the nation using all means possible.
• Provide opportunities for those who haven't played hockey to try it, resulting ultimately in more people playing our game at all levels.
