With more than 35 years of experience, Bob Mancini was promoted to Assistant Executive Director of Hockey Development in September 2021, where he oversees youth hockey, coaching education, officiating education and player safety.

Bringing extensive coaching experience in the collegiate, professional and international ranks, Mancini was named a regional manager of USA Hockey's American Development Model in July 2009, providing local associations in Michigan and Missouri with a blueprint for optimal athlete development that focuses on age-appropriate training utilizing long-term athlete development principles.

Bob will discuss "Transformation of Youth Hockey at the National Level" at the 2024 Summer Meeting. Approaching this third year as USA Hockey's Assistant Executive Director for Hockey Development, Bob will share his observations and learnings, his outlook on where the game is going, and what priorities Michigan should focus on.
