The registration window for the 2026 MAHA Player Selection Camps will is now officially open (as of Saturday, Nov. 22 at 8 a.m.)
All girls, boys playing at the Tier 1 level, and all MHSAA varsity players can register for their respective selection camps. Registration for all other boys will open on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 8.m.
All 2026 camps are for 2009-2012 birth-year players.
Boys on MAHA rosters for the 2025-26 season start at district camps, and compete to advance to statewide Selection Camps. The younger two age groups advance to selection camps at Lake Superior State, while the older two age groups advance to the 16/17 Festival at the Taylor Sportsplex. The 2009, 2010 and 2011 statewide camps serve as the selection process for which players represent Michigan at USA Hockey national development camps.
Boys on MHSAA rosters can compete in the boys’ selection camps or try out for Team Michigan, a joint operation between MAHA and Michigan’s high school hockey leaders. Team Michigan annually sends two teams to compete in the prestigious CCM NIT Tournament in Minnesota; new to 2026, Team Michigan will have two underclassmen teams which will play against other teams of their same age group on the same weekend.
Girls register for the MAHA Girls Development Camp, where they both train and compete with their peers for spots at USA Hockey national development camps.
