Coaches and team managers will now have proof they submitted their background check automatically transferred over to the USA Hockey Database. This eliminates the receipt your previously had to print out and provide your registrar. Your background check will now show as completed when you build your team roster. 

To ensure accuracy, you must provide your USA Hockey membership confirmation number as the first step in completing a background check. Please register with USA Hockey ahead of time and be prepared with your confirmation number when you start the process.

Referees and all other volunteers will not be required to have their membership confirmation to complete the background screening. They will continue to print the receipt they are provided as part of the process to prove they have completed their screening.

Your screening is good for two years.

If you were screened in the 2014-2015 season you do not need to complete the background screening again this season.
